Charles Dickens'
A Christmas Carol

Costume Designer Linda Pisano
For this production of A Christmas Carol, I built the robe Scrooge wears throughout most of the show. The garment was fully lined and included a quilted lapel and collar. I’m very proud of this piece. It was a challenge to construct as I was learning and applying new tailoring techniques throughout it’s process. Since this show is produced every year at Indianapolis Repertory Theater, there were also extensive alterations and repairs that we performed on the rest of the costumes. In order to extend the garment’s lives we patched and darned any holes and reinforced seams that experience a lot of stress throughout the run of the show. I’m happy to have left my mark on a wonderful tradition at IRT.
